NEW PROPERTY DONATIONS 2009 saw 8 new properties accepted
into our program. We now have a total of 78 located in White Sands, Drum Point, Kenwood Beach, Long Beach, and Chesapeake
Beach.
We are continuing to cooperate with
SCAWP (Southern Calvert Alliance for Watershed Protection) in the preservation of the Chesapeake watershed and with other
land trusts in the acquisition of open-space property in the county. MEMBERSHIPWe
hope to recruit more members with your help. Please tell folks about us and refer them to our website for

Events for SCLT:
October 10/11 --PRAD (Calvert Marine Museum). SCLT will have displays, children’s games and crafts at Jefferson
Patterson Park and at PRAD. Helping hands are always welcome, please contact us if you want to participate.
